I've owned several B foot flutes but being small I've come to the conclusion that I'm much more comfortable with C foot flutes. B flutes are heavy! I don't miss the B note (you can always opt out of playing B - and even if you have a B it can be difficult to sound)
If you are only considering a B foot for enhancing tone - there are different ways of enhancing tone eg changing your crown, Lefreque sound bridge etc.
Consider a B foot if you have strong arms, a super strong right little finger and know that you're going to play lots of pieces with a low B and can already sound a very solid low C! (from an anti-B foot campaigner!)
